It's the Round-Up celebration days and these girls are loving it. They have been so excited to go to parades and all the events. They wake up every morning and ask me,"what are we going to do today mom?" They surprised me and stepped out of their comfort zone and got their faces painted at the park. They looked so cute and left it on all day long. It helped that Ryder and Jax got theirs painted first. They looked too cute. Butterfly girl and Bat girl is what they called each other. So fun to be able to share these fun traditions of the Round-Up with my girlies! They were sad that Dad got home late from work and we had already washed the paint off, but they loved showing him the pictures of themselves. I think if they could have they would have looked at themselves all day long in the mirror. Cute kiddos!

Finally!
I have decided to post a few pics to kind of give an update. There is really no way we can catch up. Miah and Mazie are almost 4yrs old and I cannot believe it! They are smart little stinkers and keep me on the ball. They are growing up so fast and will be starting pre-school in the fall and will be gone from me three days a week for two and a half hours. It makes me sad and excited to think about it, but mostly sad. Good thing that in October we will be having another little one to fill my time. Yeah! We are having a BOY! I am trying to wrap my head around it still even though I am getting bigger by the minute I think. I am preparing myself for drool, poop, spit-up, nursing, and no sleep. I am sure all those fears will dissolve as soon as the little guy arrives. The girls have assured me that they will be excellent helpers and will take care of the feeding and the diaper changes. Miah will probably smother the poor kid. She is a natural mother. They have had all kinds of questions about how the baby will come out, how he eats food in my tummy, and where the baby will sleep. They amaze me with what they are concerned about. I was hoping it would be twins again, but as I think about it just one at a time might be nice. The girls are very concerned about what the baby will be for Halloween. They keep saying we need to get him a costume, "like a puppy or somping."
I am trying to cherish the last summer of just the girls and I. Now that I am feeling better we can have more fun. We have a busy summer ahead. City celebrations, girls birthday, camping, Todd's wedding, soccer, and then school will begin. Crazy! Well, there is a pathetic update. Here is some random pics.
Excited to be big sisters!

More Camping Fun!!
I couldn't get these pics to work for the other post so here is the overflow of pics from the best summer camp!
These two thought they were pretty cool to be up on top of the rocks! Great climbing boys!
Fabulous Family Fun!
I Love ya Mom and Dad! Thanks for all the fun!
Cute Kids!
These girls are practicing casting with dad up on the hill across from camp. Pretty cute girls!
This is the fishing crew after the first outing to the lake.
These kiddos were dancing to the Lions Club band coming up the road.
We have to pay tribute to the great bouncing piano lady who passed away and no longer rocks it in the parade. We loved the years of great music. Sad to see the piano empty on the Lions club float.
Do you see those deer, elk, or cows, or bear? Oh yeah people we saw all of the above and more turkeys too.
They love to look in the noculars as they called them.
And the Best Camper award goes to this kiddo who is truly the epitome of camping, Jaxon! This kid is filthy, sunburned, covered in bug bites, and carrying a sticky treat. I love this little buddy. He fell over and over but just kept on going and was not going to be left out of any of the action anywhere.

Summer Camping is the Best!
Escalante Trip 2011 was soo much fun!! Everyone say "We Love Camping!"The girls were pretty good travelers and we were so happy to be on the road and heading south for a week full of adventure!
Pictures of the scenery on the fly. The ride down is gorgeous!
The girls could not wait for the first four-wheeler ride in their new helmets and we of course loaded up the fishing gear and headed to the lake. Cute stinkers!!Miah caught her first fish on her princess pole and it was a beauty! She didn't like the fish flipping everywhere. I couldn't get her to come near it for a great picture. In the background is her nervous sister who after this first fishing experience basically didn't want anything to do with fishing. She just wanted to watch from a distance.
You have got to love Poppy with the tiny pink pole in his hand! It's a princess pole!
